Polson Environmental in Action!
We work with Living Sky Rehabilitation in Saskatoon. Staff have been involved in wildlife rescue for a number of years. Living Sky Rehabilitation is dedicated to helping displaced and injured Wildlife in the province. The ultimate aim is to release them back into the wild.

Many ducks nest in Saskatoon. When they hatch few make it to water without a bit of help from Polson Environmental who catch Mom & ducklings and drive them to a suitable pond. | |

Polson Environmental often get calls reporting ducklings down storm drains. The City workers have always been very good at responding. These ducklings were 30 ft down a main drain. | |

One hot summer evening the workers had closed up the soffit with a pigeon nest inside. Polson Environmental persuaded them to return and rescue the baby pigeon. | |

This Great-horned Owl got stuck in this seed cleaner. It was a tight squeeze but John Polson managed to crawl in and release the Owl unharmed. | |

An adult merlin was hanging from her feet 100 feet in the air on this Tower. We were able to persuade the Saskatoon Fire Department to come to the rescue! We respond to City, Fire and Police requests for help whenever asked. When the bird was set free from the cable it fell into the fireman's jacket and then immediately flew to a tall tree, no worse for wear. | |
